A Bit of Rough, British Style: Tom Dixon

I recently read the Tom Dixon Review 2008, which I picked up at ABC Carpet & Home, where they have a beautiful Tom Dixon vignette. The paper was titled “The Rough Issue” and discussed how Dixon finds inspiration in a British way of thinking that is straightforward and uncomplicated. “A Bit of Rough” is actually a term of endearment, and is based on an attitude that is direct and frank without pretension.

Topsy turvy is sometimes the perfect fit from The New York Times

With a story as varied and colorful as the apartment described, The New York Times delves into Lucy Waring’s eclectic West 67th Street home. Designed by Sulan Kolatan and William Mac Donald in 1997, it was previously featured in the Times when it was completed.
