African Textiles at the Met

If you’re a fan of African textiles, you have to make a trip to The Essential Art of African Textiles: Design Without End at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The exhibit is devoted to textiles created by artists in West Africa, from the earliest documented pieces to classic designs, and how they’ve influenced contemporary art.
